Sherwood Forest

Sherwood Forest is a Royal forest in Notinghamshire, England. It is most famous in the Legend of Robin Hood. The Forest is the home of Major Oak. The tree is believed to be 800 to 1000 years old and the principle hide out for Robin Hood. At present the the forest has 423 hectares of land which seems to be abundant with life.
