The Loe or Loe Pool is a fresh water lake in Cornwell, England. The lake is seperated from the sea by the Low Bar, a sand bar disconnecting the two waterways. To prevent flooding the bar is breached by a cutting every when needed. The bar always reseals itself. Local legend has it that the Loe claims a victim every seven years. The lake is the location of the mythological Enchanted Lake, home to the Lady of the Lake.
